Blues Guitarist

You:
* love playing and reckon you are probably quite good at different blues styles (but would be unlikely to readily admit to this)
* enjoy playing both rhythm and lead - probably play along with blues tracks, trying to enhance and compliment them, not just use them as backing
* love improvising, listening and responding to what other musicians are doing - may be a little or even a lot into jazz
* just want to play (probably as a break from other work/home responsibilities) and are not too concerned about gigging but would be happy to at the right venue.
* can't abide poseurs and ego-merchants who just want everyone to hear their own playing
* have got your own gear, transport, phone and internet access
* are reliable but relaxed, enjoy a good laugh
* can make it to practises in Plymouth most Friday nights 7-9pm (at least for a while until we can get a better day)
We:
* are vocals/guitar and bass.
* improvise and develop old blues songs as the basis for building our own sound
* are looking to be able to play as a duo on up, adding like-minded musicians as we find them
* only play live (no programmed backing, well, might consider a metronome until we find the right percussionist)
* enjoy an occasional beer or two
* are hooked on those times when the the music just seems to start playing itself
* are hopefully pretty much like you really.
