Just moved to Chester Uni (aged 18) from Newcastle and looking for a new band. I've been playing bass for about 5 years now. Although my theroy's a bit rusty, technically I think I'm above average.
I play a Yamaha RBX4-A2 (http://www.musik-service.de/images/prx/395769301/i00.jpg) . And have a rubbish Stag as back-up if needed. One problem I might have is that I only have a 20 watt amp, although might invest in a proper amp if I find a band that I fit into (might as well put that uni loan to proper use).
Although my influence list gives a list of my music taste I'm highly adaptable to heavy rock, screamo, metal. Or similarly lighter stuff if be.
