I'm a drummer currently living in Bristol, south west UK. Looking for sessions / tours / tech-work.
I've been playing for 15 years and gigging for about 12. I've toured across Europe, USA and Japan as well as frequent gigs in the UK. I also have lots of recording experience so know my way around a studio - you'll get a confident, professional attitude and hopefully some fine, unique playing.
My main influences are Bill Bruford, Danny Carey, Steve Gadd, Dave Mattax, Britt Walford (Slint - go listen now!), Charles Hayward (This Heat - go listen nower!) and probably loads of others. I was brought up on Beatles, Hendrix etc. etc. and got into prog at an early age (early/mid-70s era King Crimson being the best in my opinion) then into various rock bands old and new - Sabbath, Deep Purple, Tool, Faith No More..... Also listen to a lot of electronic music like Aphex Twin (he's not even a drummer but his use of rhythm can run circles round most drummers) and all sorts from Fairport Convention to Scott Walker to Autechre to Basil Kirchin... you get the point.
