Right! Enough is enough! If you’re sick of playing weddings, partys and barmitzvahs and have talent, dedication, image and love getting paid to play live, read on. Otherwise go back to playing Blues in front of 3 drunken Irishmen in the local pub.
I’m putting the ultimate covers band together in the South. I want to conquer the Friendsreunited reunion gigs. These gigs are in front of 1000 – 2000 people and they expect good music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s played by people who know how to get thirty somethings moving. And they PAY WELL
I need:
Singers – a great front man with charisma. Three girls for backing vocals or lead. You can be a teenager or a grandmother . All I ask is that you can sing and move.
Bass – competent bassist who can play fretless, slap, whatever it needs
Drums – Rock/Pop drummer who can play with a sequencer if required
Guitarists – Lead and rhythm. All styles but especially pop/disco from the eighties
Horns – Saxes, Trumpets, what have you?
Percussion
Sound man / Light man – Image is big thing.
Sets will cover everything from T-Rex to Disco, 80’s to B-52’s. Set lists are available. Ask.
Commitment is essential but this is NOT a pro band. However expect well paid gigs and plenty of them. We will NOT be playing pubs or cruise ships.
Based in the South (Brighton). Own transport essential. I don’t care if you’re 16 or 60. Put down the baby, golf clubs, ironing and make this happen.
