Bassist Available in birmingham

Just moved to south Birmingham from London, had to quit band! So am looking for Blues/Rock band or just people who want to jam... Prefer to be playing pre 70's material. Last band was pure 60's.
Am also intrested in playing some Jazz. Have own transport, own Amp and some pretty good licks. And a cool hat!
