Bassist (36 yrs old) looking for like minded/aged musicians to join/form a band.
I've got a very broad range of influences from Shellac to Fleetwood Mac via, the Jesus Lizard, Bowie, Joy Division, Baroness, Fugazi, Black Mountain, Goblin, Sleepy sun, Terry Reid, On the Might of Princes, Lightning Dust, etc, etc.
I fucking hate all that nu-skate-punk bollocks and I don't want to play in a covers band. I just want to play original music with a view to playing live and doing a few gigs.
I work Mondays to Fridays and much as I'd like to make music my "career" I have to pay the bills at the end of the day :( So would only want to practice about once a week.
If you've heard of at least 3 of the above bands and fancy meeting up for a jam or just to check that I'm not a complete bell end, drop me a message.
